APC (African Projects Consulting) Storage Solutions SA has been supplying leading storage technology to a number of industries since 1991. With beginnings as a racking and shelving manufacturer and supplier to the retail industry, over the years, the company has migrated to turnkey warehouse storage solutions and storage automation.
The company, with the Spanish Mecalux as technology partner, specialises in the manufacturing and installation of racking systems, warehouse management systems, conveyor and automated warehouse technology, and mezzanine floors for warehouses – all within strict European safety, quality and environmental standards. The company also supplies forklift material handling equipment and related services.
Since becoming the official South African distributor of Mecalux, APC Storage Solutions SA has installed more than 25 000 tonnes of storage equipment in more than 750 warehouses across the African continent. The company, today, offers excellent service throughout South Africa, including Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, and other African countries.
In addition to offering a comprehensive range of warehouse storage technologies, APC Storage Solutions SA sets industry trends with world-class warehouse facility design, inspection, installation and training services. The company’s highly experienced warehouse technicians perform detailed warehouse inspections – even on non-APC installed systems, and provide warehouse optimisation recommendations and services, and comprehensive logistical plans. During warehouse inspections, the company goes as far as having metal composites analysed by laboratories to determine structural strengths.
